Pest Control Services for Central Kentucky
Danville, KY
Danville, KY
BLR Pest Control provides owner-operated service for homes and businesses throughout Danville and surrounding Central Kentucky. Every service begins with identifying the pest, inspecting the conditions allowing it to persist and explaining the available options.
Treatment may include targeted liquid applications, baits, monitoring, trapping, exclusion recommendations, sanitation guidance or follow-up, depending on the pest and structure. I don’t apply the same treatment everywhere or promise instant results. I’ll explain what I find, what I recommend and what you should realistically expect.
Residential service begins with an inspection and correct pest identification. I look for entry points, harborage, moisture, sanitation issues and other conditions contributing to the problem. Treatment may include targeted exterior or interior applications, baits, monitoring, web removal and exclusion recommendations, depending on the pest and structure.
Recurring general pest service is typically performed quarterly, with interior treatment provided as needed. One-time services are also available when appropriate, and there is no long-term service agreement. Common pests include ants, spiders, cockroaches, wasps, fleas, occasional invaders, mice and rats. I’ll explain the expected treatment timeline and any preparation or follow-up required.
Commercial pest management is customized to the facility, pest pressure and operating needs of the business. I work directly with owners and property managers to identify pest activity, entry points and conditions contributing to the problem. Service may include routine inspections, monitoring, baits, traps, targeted pesticide applications, exclusion recommendations and sanitation guidance. Service schedules are based on the needs of the property, with clear documentation and communication after each visit.
Bed bug service begins with an inspection to confirm activity, determine the extent of the infestation and identify the areas requiring treatment. There is no single treatment plan used for every property. Depending on the infestation and structure, I may use a combination of targeted pesticide applications, dusts, biological treatments, vacuuming, monitoring, encasements and other tools. Preparation instructions are specific to the selected treatment methods and will be provided in writing.
Bed bugs can be reintroduced through travel, visitors, used furniture or activity in adjoining units. Treatment success also depends on access, preparation and cooperation from occupants. For those reasons, BLR does not offer a bed bug guarantee. I’ll explain the treatment process, expected timeline and any signs that warrant additional inspection or treatment.
Termite service begins with inspecting the structure for active termites, shelter tubes, damaged wood, moisture problems, inaccessible areas and other conditions that could affect treatment. When treatment is warranted, I may recommend a liquid soil treatment, termite baiting system or a combination based on the structure and site conditions.
Properly scheduled preconstruction treatment is also available when coordinated during the required construction stages. Free termite inspections are intended for suspected activity and treatment estimates. Real estate WDI/NPMA-33 reports are separate paid inspections.
Any warranty or retreatment coverage is provided in writing. Termite treatment does not repair existing damage or correct moisture, drainage or structural conditions that may contribute to future problems.
BLR provides wood-destroying insect inspections for real estate transactions and other property evaluations. Visible and accessible areas are inspected for evidence of termites and other reportable wood-destroying insects. When required for a transaction, findings are documented using the NPMA-33 form.
A WDI inspection reflects the visible conditions present on the date of inspection. It cannot guarantee that insects or damage are not concealed inside walls, beneath flooring or within other inaccessible areas, and it does not predict future activity. Any suspected structural damage should be evaluated by a qualified contractor or structural professional.
Real estate WDI inspections are separate from free termite inspections performed for treatment estimates.
